01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Chase continues to excel with his baseball abilities on the diamond. In the outfield, he moves with smooth, fluid actions, utilizing his active footwork to get behind the ball and play through with momentum toward his target. His glove work is clean and well-presented out front, with range expected to increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he showcases a closed setup, making consistent contact through a line drive approach, with power showing best to the pull side. His power potential will continue to grow as he engages his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, his fastball sits in the 64-65 mph range, while his breaking ball displays a 1/7 shape with a short break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, which features slight sink. As he builds more arm strength through a long toss program, his stock on the mound will continue to rise.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
