11/08/2024 - Baseball Factory West Coast Fall Select Training & Competition (HS) Chase is a first baseman from St. Charles, MO, set to graduate in 2026. He recently put in significant work at the Baseball Factory West Coast Fall Training in Arizona, where he showcased his potential. Standing with a tall frame and long levers, Chase does a great job of centering the ball and keeping it in front of him. He provides a big target at first base and demonstrates solid footwork around the bag, allowing him to make clean, efficient plays. At the plate, Chase starts from a tall, even stance with loose hands, utilizing his long frame to generate good bat speed. His tracking ability is strong, and during live games, he reached base on a single, showing his ability to make consistent contact. With two more years of growth and development, Chase has the foundation to continue improving and refine his skills both defensively and offensively.

07/08/2024 - National Showcase - Sauget (St. Louis), IL Chase is a 1B from Florissant, MO. Tall frame who presents a big target at first base. He works from the ground up and fields out front. Shows good footwork around the bag with ability to scoop balls. At the plate he hits from a crouched and even stance. Keeps his weight between his knees and has some rhythm to swing. He hit balls to all fields during his round of BP. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Chase making huge strides on the baseball diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
