08/16/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory All-America Game powered by Under Armour Chris showed very well at the Baseball Factory All-America Game despite still feeling some lingering effects from a hand injury. He is a solidly-built prospect with present strength and a simple RH stroke that does easy damage. He sees the ball very well at the plate and has natural rhythm and feel for the barrel. It's an advanced approach with very little chase and the ability pick a pitch to drive. Chris uses the whole field well while handling good velocity and reacting well to off-speed offerings. As a defender, Chris uses his instincts and reads well to allow him to play multiple spots effectively. He has sure hands and is comfortable making plays to the backhand side - like he did in Kansas City - and on the run. There is a lot to like here. Chris is a hard worker with some loud tools, a history of production and good bloodlines.
