01/01/2013 - 2013 Baseball Factory Top 100, powered by Under Armour Easy, fluid LHP who looks like he is playing catch while sitting upper 80s - touching 90. Spins curveball well and has fade to change.

08/18/2012 - Under Armour All-America Game Chris is a high ceiling LHP with a fluid delivery and easy arm action. He gets good downhill plane on his fastball from a high 3/4 arm slot. His fastball touches 90 and he has more in the tank with a lean, athletic build and good arm speed. His current out pitch is a downer curveball that has tight rotation and a big break. He complements his FB and CB with a solid change that he has some sink. He has good feel for all of his pitches and is poised and in control on the mound. The arrow is pointing up on this lefty.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
