Chris is a coachable player that worked hard to make several adjustments at the Hitting Accelerated Training event. At the plate, Chris starts in a tall and squared stance. He stays behind the ball and makes hard contact with the barrel. Continuing to attack the inside part of the ball will allow him to get consistent extension through contact. Using the lower half will allow his hands to work more freely and drive the ball gap to gap. Continuing to get the front foot down early will allow him to recognize pitches and be aggressive on the fastball. Chris will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
