07/10/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Trenton, NJ Chris is a C/RHP who will graduate in 2021. Defensively behind the plate, he displays a solid setup with active footwork. He receives pitches with a soft glove and comes up with a quick/clean exchange to throw. On the hill, this righty stands tall and delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot. He commands his pitches in and around the plate and finishes square towards his target. With the bat, Chris gets back into a good load. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone and sprays pitches to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
