06/09/2013 - Interactive Video Program - Troy (Albany), NY Christian is a solid, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Christian has soft / sure hands, good range, and he fields in a low position. He throws with carry and accuracy to his target from a short / quick arm action. On the hill, Christian has a long / easy arm action, he keeps his eyes on target, and he finishes completely. At the plate, Christian has an athletic set-up, good balance, and average bat speed. He has a level swing and uses all fields. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
