11/08/2012 - Baseball Factory Training & Competition in Arizona Chris is a young 2B that will graduate in 2016. Feet are active as he works to square balls up while presenting clean hands. Actions are fluid with hands and feet working well together. He needs to play through more and increase foot quickness to continue to improve defensive grade. Arm action is loose, easy, and quick as he gets rid of the baseball quickly but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, Frausto shows a balanced approach with rhythm. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path as he makes consistent hard contact, mainly to the pull side. He needs to work to stay inside the ball to utilize all fields with power numbers improving as he learns to use his lower half more. At the event, he was 2 for 6 with a 2B. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. With 4 years to further develop, Chris has abilities with time and room to improve.
