10/06/2010 - Arizona Fall Invitational - 2010 Chris showed good improvements in his game during his time at the Fall Invitational. He improved his arm, fielding, and hitting grades during the event. He currently projects better at 3rd base than on the mound. Defensively, Chris has good actions, a clean glove, and he makes plays on balls hit his way. He throws with accuracy and a solid arm action across the diamond. Chris can continue to improve by using his feet more to throw, and by picking out better hops. On the mound, Chris pitches to contact and attacks hitters. He has good balance and separation, and he competes in the zone. Better direction and added arm strength will help abilities on the mound get better. At the plate, Chris improved both his hitting and power grades from 42's to 45's. He has good hands, a quick bat, and he puts the ball in play. He shows pop in his bat and he can hit the ball to all fields. If Chris can improve his tracking, and continue to get reps, hitting can continue to spike. Overall, Chris is a solid athlete with a body that will only get stronger.
