11/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Delray Beach, FL Christopher is a strong OF/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Christopher shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, working to keep them accurate to his target. Long tossing can help Christopher build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance with center balance. He leads well with his lower half and sprays line drives to all fields. Christopher can barrel up more baseballs by working a smoother load into his swing. On the mound, Christopher gathers over the rubber and works inline toward the plate. He gets good extension through his release and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Christopher operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph. Breaking ball sits at 68mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 73-74mph with late arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Separating his hands earlier in his motion can help Christopher improve his pitch command. Overall, Christopher is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
