07/05/2008 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Chris has a very lean, developing body that allows him to show well on the field. As an outfielder, he takes good angles to the ball, but will show better if he is more aggressive playing through ground balls and getting behind fly balls. His arm has good life and carry to his target even though he fires with his hips prematurely. At the plate, he centers the ball consistently as he has quick hands and a good middle approach. He has adequate fence power and will improve upon firing his lower half to the ball. On the mound, Chris maintains good direction and finds his target well. He shows nice loose mechanics, but tends to be slightly uphill with his shoulders, making him inconsistent with his release point. With some mechanical work and a good long toss program, he may become a dual position player, but his ability to hit and play defense will most likely have college coaches recruiting him as an outfielder. Ran 7.07 in the 60-yard dash.
