04/05/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Myrtle Beach, SC Christopher's impressive play at the PreSeason All-Ripken Games resulted in being selected as MVP of his Freedom squad. He is very athletic on the diamond with a quality swing that is rhythmic and on-time. He is balanced in the box with flashes of pull-side pop while showing the ability to use the entire field well. As a defender he show quick feet and the versatility to play all over the field. His hands are sure and he has plenty of arm strength as he showed with an impressive defensive play in the hole at SS. Christopher also showed off his arm on the mound where he was up to 60 mph and mixed in a quality changeup. The arrow is pointing up for this talented young prospect and we look forward to the next time we get to see him.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
