Official Scouting Report

  • RHP/OFPosition Projection

08/04/2022 - Baseball Factory Summer World Series at the NY Mets Spring Training Complex Connor is an OF/RHP prospect in the class of 2023. He is a very athletic player with high upside. In the outfield, he does a great job showing off his speed by being very aggressive to the baseball. He does a very good job creating momentum to throw and was up to 77 MPH on his throws into the infield. At the plate, he showed a very good lower ½ along with a great approach. He consistently made hard contact with help from a direct swing path. In game action he got on base 4 times in 3 games. On the mound, he continued to impress. He pitched ahead with his fastball and was up to 77 MPH. Showed a good breaking ball with 11-5 shaped action. Also flashed a decent changeup to help keep hitters off balance. Connor is a very good ballplayer with a bright future, we hope to see him again soon in the future.

04/10/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Sanford (Orlando), FL Connor is a 2023 graduate out of Sanford, Florida who we saw 16 months ago. Over that span of time, Connor has elevated his fastball velocity a full 10mph now touching 80mph on a regular basis. He utilizes his long levers effectively during his wind-up which adds some deception to his delivery. He shows a loose arm stroke and extends through at release. In addition, he is aggressive and rhythmic. With his body type and arm stroke, he has a future on the mound.

12/20/2020 - All-In Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Connor is a lean RHP/2B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. At 2B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but need to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves his foot quickness. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 67-70 mph. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Connor has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
