05/25/2013 - Little League® Experience - S. Williamsport Connor is a young player who is a true gamer. He showed good baseball knowledge throughout the weekend. Defensively in the outfield he showed good range and accuracy on his throws. His footwork is fluid and he keeps the ball in front. Behind the plate, Connor shows sure hands with active feet, he will need to work on improving his blocking skills. At the plate, Connor is a switch hitter who shows similar abilities from both sides. His balance is centered with a solid load getting his hands back in a strong position. He displayed line drive type power with a strong lower half. Overall Connor can work on using more top hand to improve on his barrel delivery making sure he stays through the ball.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
