12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Connor is an outfielder and left-handed pitcher from Kansas City, MO, in the 2025 graduating class, who worked hard to refine his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City camp. Defensively, he works to center the baseball, keeping it in front and making accurate throws into infield from a high three-quarter arm slot. As a left-handed pitcher, Connor does a great job of mixing his pitches, primarily working off his fastball and consistently throwing strikes. He fields his position well, and in three innings of work, he struck out two batters and threw 55% of his pitches for strikes. At the plate, Connor starts in an open stance and he shows the ability to hit with authority, as he recorded a double, a single, two hit-by-pitches, a walk, and reached base on an error after hitting a hard ball to shortstop. Another season of development will help him refine his mechanics and continue to improve his overall game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
