10/03/2010 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Connor is a young, thin, 2-way player that Pitches and plays OF. He currently projects best on the mound as he enters his Sophomore year. On the hill, Connor has a long / loose arm action and he keeps his eyes to his target. He gets to his balance point well, throws on a slight downhill plane, and his CB shows nice shape. Connor is projectable on the mound, and can get better with more extension and finish, along with improve control. In the OF, Connor is aggressive to the ball and he makes plays on balls hit his way. He gathers himself well, and throws with accuracy to his target. Defensive skills can get better if Connor can take more direct routes to the ball, quicken his exchange, and add arm strength. Offensively, Connor has a loose grip and a middle approach. He has a level swing and he puts the ball in play. Offensive tool grades can improve by letting the ball travel deeper into the zone, keeping his hands high, and tapping into more lower 1/2.
