Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 1B/RHPPosition Projection

12/20/2022 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at JRTC - Session 1 Connor is a 2026 RHP/1B who showcased his skills during the BF Christmas Camp and Tournament. At 1B, he gets good reads off bat as he creates good fielding angles and showed athletic actions. He showed a sure glove with a 2-hand exchange. Made accurate throws to second base from a low 3/4 arm slot and arm velocity up to 83mph. Showed good touch on his DP feeds and good footwork around the bag. On the mound, he has long levers and a projectible frame. He starts with a small rocker step and separates his hands on-time. Attacks hitters with a FB topping out at 77mph, a 10/4 shaped breaking ball, and a developing changeup. At the plate, he sets up in an upright and square stance with high hands. Starts with a short glide step and showed ability to deliver the barrel. Hit line drives into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 82mph. Overall, Connor is a good player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

11/13/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Marlborough (Boston), MA Connor recently impressed scouts with his actions at 1B and on the mound. This 2026 grad plays above grade level and should attract attentions of college scouts with his 6ft 6 / 210 frame. In the field, he is athletic and has loose actions. He solid knowledge around the bag and is a prime target for his defenders. Has soft hands and the ball sticks to the glove. Can used multiple arm slots based upon his defensive zone and has the arm strength (84 velo) to make strong relay actions and defend the bunt play. On the mound, he is free and easy. Arm has life and deception with a ¾ slot. His FB sat 78-9 with more in the tank as he advances. His CB sat 68-72 with 10-4 shape and was located well. His CH was in down in the zone with 72-3 velo. At the plate, he has a simple swing and balanced rhythm. Timing is smooth and gets his backside through the baseball. Uses a direct barrel path to generate squared contact. Shows gap-to-gap production with potential for more. Overall, Connor is a highly projectable athlete and a must follow in the 2026 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
