01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Connor continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft / sure and presents well out front. Feet / hands work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy / carry on his throws. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus and he has strength in his swing through a line drive approach.

11/22/2020 - All-In Membership - Montgomery, AL Connor is an athletic 1B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate he continues to shine, displaying solid hitting abilities through an athletic, open setup. Hands are quick (79 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, flashing gap-to-gap pop. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 5 years to further develop, Connor has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
