08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Conor is an athletic 2020 OF/RHP prospect who never takes pitches off and has good feel for the game. He shows off his strong arm in the outfield and on the mound, impacting the game in both areas. His athleticism and agility are on display in the field with quick first steps and efficient routes to the ball to show plenty of range. He gains ground on the ball to field with momentum to his target and unleashes lasers to cut down baserunners. At the plate, he has a simple, solid approach to use all fields with excellent knowledge of the zone. His lower half works well to generate bat speed, while he can also stay back and hit the breaking ball. On the bump, this right hander indices lots of weak contact with good break on both pitches and sequencing to keep hitters off balance. His fastball reaches the upper 70's with sink and the curveball has good 11-5 action. Attacking hitters more aggressively will keep him in shorter counts and allow him to pitch deeper into games. Conor is an intriguing prospect with plenty of potential all over the field.
