12/20/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Cooper is a class of 2022 3B/RHP who shows off good arm strength. In the field, he showed good pre-pitch actions. He was able to work downhill and create angles to the baseball. He showed the ability to have a consistent glove angle helping eliminate errors on bad hops. He created momentum to throw across and was up to 84 MPH. At the plate, he showed good feel for live hitting and understanding the count. He hit from a closed stance and was able to stay balanced with help from his exceptional lower 1/2. His bat path was direct to the zone. He recorded a 2B along with finding his way on base multiple times in live game action. On the mound, he showed good feel for his FB and CB. FB worked up to 75 MPH and the CB was in the 65-68 MPH range. He showed good feel for controlling the run game. Did not give up a run in 2 innings of work. Cooper is a good prospect that has room for continued development.
