01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Corbin showed as a prospect at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the OF, he displays smooth / easy actions. He shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. He utilizes his foot quickness (6.84 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through an squared setup. He gets his hands activated in his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with bat speed (80 mph exit velocity), leading to loud contact through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn. Overall, Corbin is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

11/05/2023 - National Showcase - Daytona Beach, FL Corbin continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.20 runner. continues to shine with his baseball abilities on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are now solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate with online carry (81 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He has stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

09/20/2023 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2025) Corbin is a gifted 6ft 1/160 SS in the 2025 class. In the field, he has an athletic ready position and plays on the balls of his feet. Shows a quick 1st step and moves with agility to the baseball. Gains a squared fielding position and strong glove presentation on in front. His exchanges are quick and clean and obtains numerous arm slots based upon his defensive zone. Arm action is quick and makes accurate feeds to his targets. At the plate, he begins in an athletic crouched stance. Hands are high and comfortable and uses a short and small load to get into his hitting position. He is on-time with the baseball and shows excellent barrel control. Overall, Corbin plays the game the right way, hustles and is ready on every pitch. Scouts feel he can make a difference at the next level.

03/05/2023 - National Showcase - Sanford (Orlando), FL Corbin is a SS in the 2025 class. In the field, he has active feet and solid range. Shows soft hands and plays through his back hand well. His exchanges are clean and gains a high ¾ slot. Arm has life at 78 and is accurate to his targets. Footwork and feeds on his turns are above average. At the plate, he shows an aggressive approach from a balanced set-up. His hips and hands works well and controls the barrel. Path is direct and is explosive at 82 exit velo. Overall, scouts like his action in the field and feel with additional player development, he can become a solid 2025 prospect.

10/05/2022 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic (2025) Corbin is an excellent SS prospect in the 2025 class. In the field, scouts were impressed with his range and ability to get to the baseball with agile movements. Plays low to the ground and has advanced pocket feel. He can redirect the baseball with solid clean actions and uses a short arm action to release across the diamond. His feet hand hands are in sync and his accuracy is outstanding. Ball has life out of the hand (81 velo) and extensive depth. At the plate, he is aggressive early in the count and hunts the fastball. Has a tall square stance and a short stride. Loads his body well and has above average balance in his load to swing phase. Hits off of a firm front side and uses a short barrel path to generate line drive contact. Had a great week at the plate with 4 base hits in 6 official at-bats. When Corbin adds strength from the weight room and fills out his frame, he will become a major force on both sides of the ball. Corbin is a must follow in the 2025 class.

06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS) Corbin is an athletic 2025 SS prospect who showcased his ability at the National World Series in Omaha. At SS, he showed athletic actions with active/efficient feet and aggressive 1st step to baseball. Fields out front with sure hands from an athletic fielding position. Good reads off bat enable him to move well in all directions. Showed ability to make accurate throws from multiple arm slots and an arm velocity up to 82mph. Showed good touch on his DP feeds and good feet around bag on his DP pivots. At the plate, he hits from a relaxed and square stance with low hands. He showed good barrel control and a smooth swing. A short barrel path with good extension out front enables him to hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph during BP. At the event, he reached base 4 times with a double, a single, and 2 base on balls. Good instinctual player who has a great attitude. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Corbin as he enters his sophomore year.

06/12/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Port St. Lucie, FL Corbin continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the MIF, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. 09/24/2021 - MS All-Region Tournament Corbin is a 2025 SS prospect who showcased his skills at the All Region Tournament. At SS, he showed quick/fluid feet and ability to play through the ball. Good lateral range, with good cross-over step, and fields out front with a good glove angle. Accurate throws to first base from multiple arm slots and an arm velocity up to 74mph. Showed good touch on his DP feeds. At the plate, this right-handed hitter hits from an athletic and square stance. A flat barrel path, with ability to keep it in the zone a long time, and made square contact. He hit balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 70mph. In live game action, he reached base 10 times with 4 singles, 4 base on balls, and 2 hit by pitches. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee him have a bright high school career and beyond.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Corbin is a hard working 2025 2B prospect who honed his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, he starts with active/efficient footwork and ability to make routine plays. He gets into an athletic fielding position and fields the ball out in front with a low funnel. 2-hand exchange and he creates momentum on his throws to first base. Accurate throws, with good carry/life, and an arm velocity of 73mph. A right-handed hitter, sets up in a tall and square stance. Short/square stride, with good balance at contact point, and ability to keep barrel in the zone a long time. Corbin sprayed line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 73mph during BP. Showed good plate discipline as he drew four base on balls in live game action. With four more years to develop, Corbin has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Academic All-American Tournament (MS) Corbin continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing and he shows a feel for the barrel. At the event, he was 1 for 2.

12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Corbin continues to shine on the diamond. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is sure but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. He shows good eye / hand coordination and shows a feel for the barrel. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Corbin is a hard working SS prospect that was eager to learn and made several adjustments on the field. At SS, Corbin has a 2 handed exchange, he has good feeds on double plays, and has good footwork on double plays. He needs to continue to be on time with his prep step, present a low/early glove, and field the ball in front of him. At the plate, Corbin starts in a squared stance, he loads his hands back, and rotates his backside. He is a contact hitter that gets extension through the ball and has a middle approach. Corbin will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

08/05/2019 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Corbin continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active but needs to be more aggressive in attacking balls and play through with his body. Glove action is soft /sure and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. He has a high baseball IQ and will progress to play at higher levels.

05/27/2019 - Accelerated Interactive Video Program - Jupiter, FL Corbin is a SS/OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. At SS, Corbin makes the routine plays and fields with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws accurate and on-line to his target. In the OF, Corbin shows efficient footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He fields the ball out in front of his body and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting back into his load and takes a level swing path, spraying the ball to all fields. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
