06/15/2013 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Dennis is a well built RHP/corner guy that projects best on the bump. In his outing in the tournament setting, he threw three pitches for strikes with his fastball topping out at 86 MPH. He showed a lot of poise and confidence with plus arm action and ability. He did not give up a single hit in his outing, but may have been even more effective if he trusted his off-speed pitches more. At his corner spots, he shows an ability to pick the ball with good glove positioning. Corbin keeps the ball in front well with good footwork. With the bat, he has good bat speed - short to the ball, and gets good extension through his level swing path. Currently, Dennis projects best on the bump with a solid fastball and smooth repeatable delivery.
