10/13/2024 - National Showcase - San Antonio, TX Corbyn is a right-handed pitcher from Rouse High School, graduating in 2025, who possesses a tall frame and athletic build that contribute to his promising potential on the mound. With a projectable frame, he effectively utilizes long levers to generate impressive arm speed. His easy arm action and proper stride length enhance his performance as a four-pitch pitcher, featuring a fastball with movement, a curveball, a slider, and a well-developed change-up. At the plate, he begins in an upright and closed stance, swinging with intent and maintaining a centered position at contact. His ability to turn his lower half allows him to drive the ball effectively to the opposite field. With another season of development ahead, this player is poised to further enhance his skills and continue his baseball journey.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
