01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Craig is an athletic middle infielder that will graduate in 2024. On the infield Craig shows fluid and effective footwork as he ranges for the ball. He fields the ball athletic and low handling the ball with a soft glove. His exchanges are quick and clean as he gets rid of the ball from a high 3/4 arm slot. He creates momentum to the target allowing him to deliver the ball quickly with good carry and accuracy. At the plate, Craig sets up in a tall and open stance taking a square stride with smooth timing. His mechanics are simple as he fires his lower half creating fast bat speed. His line drive approach creates hard contact as he works to drive the ball to the gaps. As Craig continues to grow and develop his on field game will only get better and more explosive defensively and at the plate.

11/12/2020 - Baseball Factory Fall Select Tournament at Pirate City Craig is a coachable MIF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Fall Select Tournament at Pirate City. In the field, Craig moves light on his feet with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. He is fluid to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a level swing and produces consistent contact and line drives. Overall, Craig is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament This athletic 2024 MIF continues to shine and impressed during his time at the All-Region Tournament. With the bat, this righty shows an open stance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an aggressive hack with + bat speed and engages his lower 1/2 well. He squares the ball up and drives the ball from gap-to-gap. At SS, he has fluid rhythm with athletic actions working right to left in his approach to the GB. Hands are soft as he gathers well and works through the ball, in-line toward his target at 1B. Craig is a solid MIF prospect who has a bright future ahead in the game.

05/30/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lawrenceville (Atlanta), GA Craig continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.27 runner. Defensively at SS, defensive abilities have improved. He shows active prep with fluid actions. He works around the GB and through it as he gains ground toward his target. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Exchange is clean with accurate throws but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Barrel is whipped through the zone as he makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Craig is a coachable MIF prospect who showed well during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Craig is agile moving to the ball and gets into an athletic position. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a two-handed exchange, working to keep his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a closed stance and takes a short stride. He gets into his load on time and takes a short swing, leading to solid contact. With four more years to develop, Craig has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

10/27/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Craig showed a spike in hitting numbers, ran his fastest 60 (7.68 seconds), and raised arm velocity to 67 MPH during his last workout. At SS, Craig is a smooth fielder with fluid feet, agile movements, and soft hands. He takes good angles to the ball, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy from a short arm action to his target. On the mound, Craig has good balance, he keeps his eyes on target, and has a controlled landing toward the plate; competing in the zone. Offensively, hitting and power grades improved to 42 and 38. He is an aggressive hitter, he has a short/square stride, and good balance. He keeps his hands inside the ball, his barrel is direct, and he works the ball gap to gap. Continued work on the following will help skills progress.

12/27/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Craig is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Winter Classic. In the field, Craig takes a good first step and displays efficient footwork. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws accurate with carry through his target. Getting into a more athletic ready position can help Craig improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a centered stride. He is fluid getting into a simple load and remains centered with his lower half. He shows plus barrel control and makes solid contact. Craig can improve as a hitter by taking a shorter swing path. On the mound, Craig starts with a simple rock step and stays inline towards the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. He shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 56mph. Changeup sits from 48-51mph. Being more controlled getting to his balance point can help Craig improve as a pitcher. With five more years to develop, Craig has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

07/14/2018 - Baseball Factory D.C. All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Craig is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who continued to work hard on his skills during his time at the D.C. All Star Experience. In the field, Craig shows fluid footwork and is very agile moving to the ball. He gets into a low position and fields the ball with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently online to his target. Craig can improve defensively by staying low on backhand ground balls. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting back into his load and maintains center balance. He takes a direct swing with explosive bat speed which leads to consistent contact and line drives. Craig can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. On the mound, Craig gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and stays inline towards the plate. His fastball tops out at 60mph. Craig can improve as a pitcher by finishing with his chest over his front knee. With six more years to develop, Craig has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

01/12/2018 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Craig continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and shows a promising future on the diamond. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. At the plate, hitting potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays on plane and makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / clean actions. Hands are clean and present well out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls but will benefit by playing through with his body. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves quickness. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 46-49 mph with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

10/29/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Craig is a SS who graduates in 2024. Defensively at SS, he shows active footwork and works into a square fielding position on GB's. He funnels the GB with soft hands and has a clean transfer to throw. As a hitter, this righty sets up square with fluid rhythm. He rips his lower 1/2, swings on-plane through the zone and creates solid contact with each pitch. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
