01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Crosby is a talented 2029 from Iowa who impressed at the Pre-Season All-America event. He is an advanced defender in the infield where he has natural, athletic actions. He picks his hops well and presents his glove out front before securing the ball consistently. Crosby maintains momentum through routine balls and finishes plays with an accurate arm across the diamond. Everything points to him staying at SS at higher levels. At the plate, Crosby had a quality BP that translated to game play where he had 2 singles and a line out in his 5 at bats. He hits the ball where it’s pitched and has a natural line drive stroke with very quick hands. There is a lot to like in this prospect – we feel that Crosby had a very bright future on the diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
