08/01/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Myrtle Beach, SC At the plate, Cyrus stood out with impressive bat speed, strong bat-to-ball skills, and a good eye, which allows him to consistently make solid contact. If he focuses on utilizing his lower half more effectively, he can add more power to his swings. On the mound, his balance while pitching is a notable strength. If he refines his arm action and incorporates his lower half more, he will see greater accuracy and consistency. His commitment to these areas of development will have him making meaningful contributions on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
