09/26/2010 - College PREP - McKees Rocks, PA Dakota is a lean, projectable, 2-way player who currently projects best on the mound. Dakota has a long / loose arm action, he repeats his delivery well, and he competes in the zone. He has good direction toward the plate, his off-speed pitches are solid, and his FB is deceptively quick. Dakota needs to finish off his pitches, stay tall, and improve his command in order to get better on the hill. In the INF, Dakota is currently an average HS fielder. He makes plays, has a quick exchange, and has an accurate arm across the diamond. Dakota will need to improve his pre-pitch actions, take better angles to the ball, and field further out in front of his body, in order to get better. At the plate, Dakota has a good set-up, nice load, and level swing path. He works the ball up the middle of the field and he has some pop in his bat. More direct hands to the ball will help offensive grades further improve.
