Dallen is a tall/athletic, 2-way player who plays OF and RHP. Defensively, Dallen has quick feet, agile range, and he tracks the ball well off the bat. He takes good routes, makes plays, and throws with a long/quick arm action to his target. More pre-pitch actions, and not drifting will help abilities in the OF improve. On the mound, Dallen has good balance over the rubber, on-time hand separation, and a clean arm circle. He gets good extension, lands with a proper length stride, and works on a downhill plane. Mound effectiveness can improve with more glove side lead, more lower body, and a more compete finish. Offensively, this RHH has an open stance, a short stride, and good balance. He swings on plane, makes consistent contact, and he uses his lower body well. Hitting can spike with a shorter swing path, improved rhythm, and sharper barrel accuracy.
