At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a solid line drive approach. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. He will move runners as he is an excellent bunter, showing plus bat control. Mental makeup is a plus as he works hard and shows a solid feel for the game as he plays with high energy. With 3 years to further develop, Dalton has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.
