09/09/2018 - Interactive Video Program - La Verne (Los Angeles), CA Damian is a thin, 2-way player who plays OF and pitcher. Defensively, Damian has efficient footwork to the ball, he tracks well, and makes plays consistently. He plays through, has a clean exchange, and throws with consistency to his cut-off man. On the mound, Damian stands over the rubber well balanced, he separates on time, and gets good extension on his pitches. Offensively, Damian has a tall set-up, he tracks the ball well, and he uses his lower body. Damian hits well to the pull side and can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
