10/15/2023 - National Showcase - Austin, TX Damian is a 2025 OF/SS prospect. He hit personal bests in all of his measurements and showed improvement in all facets of his game. He ran his 60-yard dash in 6.56 seconds, pulled down 96mph, and had a bat exit velocity of 100mph. In the OF he gets good reads off of bat and works behind and through the baseball. He makes it look easy as he runs down balls in all direction. The arm plays as he made accurate throws to the plate with good carry. At SS he shows quick feet as he works from right to left on batted balls. Has ability to pick out hops, with a good glove angle, and ability to make throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate he hits from an athletic and square stance. He hits into a firm frontside and generates explosive bat speed through the hitting zone. Shows quick hands, with late bat whip, and ability to drive the ball into both gaps. With 2 seasons of continued growth and development, Damian should have opportunities to play at the next level and beyond.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Damian is a 2025 OF out of Killeen, TX who continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities and did so at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At the plate, hitting abilities are near a pro level with excellent power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. In the OF, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth/fluid actions. He displays smooth/clean actions with hands/feet working well together through the fielding process as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry (92 mph velocity) on his throws. He utilizes his tremendous foot quickness in covering a lot ground. With 2 1/2 years to further develop, Damian has a high skill-set and will get looks from top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

10/23/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Austin, TX Damian is an athletic OF with loads of potential. He showed upgrades in all areas of his game during his last workout in Austin. Radar velocity increased to 94 MPH, exit velocity to 96 MPH, and hitting numbers spiked. Defensively, Damian has quick feet, athletic actions, and agile range. He fields low, plays through, and throws with accuracy and strength to his cut off man. Offensively, Damian stands in the box with an open stance, he is strong, and has plus bat speed. He has good bat whip, works the ball gap to gap, and has power in his swing.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Damian is a 2025 prospect out of Killeen, TX who is a very solid 2 way player in the 2025 class. The OF/RHP features many qualities that give him a high ceiling. He has time to build upon his current skills and continue to blossom into a solid prospect. Immediately noticeable is the raw velocity at 88mph which is advanced for his age. He does a good job working behind the ball in the outfield, takes good routes, and follows his throw. The ability to cover ground is also quite impressive. On the mound he shows low 80s velocity with sound mechanics and has a two pitch arsenal. His CB is advanced for his age and has good velocity. An 11-5 shape type of CB. At the plate he can really swing the bat and projects some potential pull-side power. Damian keeps a direct path with good bat speed, offering him the opportunity to become a power hitter. There is a lot of upside with this 2025 graduate and the potential is there to really blossom into a top tier high school prospect.

10/10/2021 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Georgetown, TX Damian is an athletic OF who is a top prospect on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and covers (6.68 60 time) a lot of ground. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (87 mph velocity) on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (93 mph exit velocity) as he connects with gap to gap pop.

08/08/2021 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Tomball (Houston), TX Damian is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and plenty of room to develop. In the OF, he showed quick feet and good body control at the baseball. Gets good reads off the bat and fields from an athletic/square fielding position as he fields the ball off his left foot. He showed ability to flip his hips and play through fly balls with a 1-hand catch. Has a quick/clean exchange as he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with a short arm stroke, and an arm velocity up to 82mph into infield. Throws were accurate/on-line with good carry. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an upright and open stance with a high hand set. A smooth swing, with good timing, and has a late bat whip. Showed a fast bat as he hit balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph during BP. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we see Damian having a bright future on the baseball field.

08/10/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Sugar Land (Houston), TX Damian is an athletic OF prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes his stride on time. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to solid contact and gap to gap pop. Working a smoother load into his swing can help Damian improve as a hitter. With five more years to develop, Damian has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

07/16/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Damian is a young 2B/OF that worked hard down in Pirate City. Damian showed great actions at 2B, he had an athletic ready position with quick and active feet getting great jumps on ground balls. He fields the ball athletically with his glove presented out front with quick and clean exchanges. As he creates momentum towards his target, he lets the ball fly with a loose arm action making accurate throws with carry. At the plate, Damian has a tall and relaxed set up with loose hands. His load is simple and controlled with fluid rhythm. He rotates against a firm front side with a smooth swing making consistent contact and a gap to gap approach. Damian showed good actions as well in the OF. Overall, Damian shows great dedication to improving his game and we are excited to see his progress.

02/24/2019 - Interactive Video Program - West, TX Damian is a young, thin, 2-way player who plays OF and 3rd base. In the OF, Damian has athletic actions, active feet, and he takes good angles to the ball. He stays behind well, uses 2 hands to catch, and gains momentum; throwing with accuracy to his cut off man. At 3B, Damian has active footwork to the ball, he reads well off the bat, and he fields athletically. He has soft/presentable hands, a quick/clean exchange, and he throws with accuracy from a quick release to his target. Offensively, Damian has an open/athletic stance, a short/square stride, and good balance. He has activated hands, a direct swing path, and he works the ball gap to gap using his lower body. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
