07/19/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Trenton, NJ Damian is a C prospect who will graduate in 2022. Medium frame, with broad shoulders, and athletic build with strength present. Behind the dish, he has efficient feet, with athletic actions, and an easy sit. Good lateral movement glove side, with good blocking angles, and blocks the 5-hole. Has a clean exchange, into a high 3/4 release point with accurate/on-line throws to second base. Arm velocity was 71mph and his best pop time was 2.11 seconds. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Short/square stride, with a quick hands, and a direct barrel path through the zone. Strong top hand enables him to stay through the baseball. Sprayed line drives to all fields with a bat a bat exit velocity of 78mph during BP. Damian should have a bright future on the baseball field with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
