09/30/2012 - College PREP - Charlotte, NC In Daniel's second Baseball Factory outing he showed drastic improvements working again as an OF/3B. Offensively, he showed a good setup, level swing path, balanced approach while making consistent/line-drive contact. Implementing more of a load will increase his bat speed and allow his power grades to increase. In the outfield, Daniel took okay angles and was able to get rid of the ball quickly. His hands are sure and his exchange is clean, while his footwork was effective and playable. His throws were accurate with some life from over-top arm slot with loose arm action. Getting lower in a fielding position and getting behind balls will help increase his field grades and make him a more consistent outfielder. At third, he plays through balls, has soft/sure hands, clean/quick exchange, fluid footwork and presents his glove well. Increasing his footwork/agility will help his lateral movement, and will allow him to get lower in his fielding position. Overall, Daniel is a promising young 2014 prospect that can play both corner infield and corner outfield at a high level.
