06/04/2017 - College PREP - Medford (Boston), MA Daniel continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. He only showed as a RHP at the event. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 80 mph. Fastball showed a range of 79-80 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual action. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run and shows as a quality pitch. Command / control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he improved his hitting abilities and power potential. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a solid line drive approach.

06/01/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Medford (Boston), MA Daniel is a RHP/3B that will graduate in 2019. Offensively, he has a level path, direct barrel, and an aggressive mentality. He was fluid to get to launch and loose throughout the swing, flashing a spray approach. At third, he worked to the ball with some range, and threw accurately to his target. On the mound, he threw three pitches from the high 3/4 arm slot with loose arm action. He is mechanically sound, has a good tempo, and repeats his delivery. He tops out at 63 MPH with his fastball, throws a CB with 11-5 shape, and has some feel for a change-up with sink. Overall - Gjoka is a promising young player that has lots of time to develop and strengthen his fundamental ability.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
