01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Daniel is a 2026 SS/RHP who showcased his talents in front of scouts at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Daniel started the event showing off his speed running a 6.94 60-yard dash. In the field, he has good footwork and covers ground laterally. He fields from a low-athletic position and has soft hands. Daniel threw from a high ¾ arm slot and had accurate throws. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has a tall stance and smooth rhythm. He has a strong lower ½ and fast bat speed. His swing path stays on plane and he made consistent hard contact. Daniel had a good approach at the plate and had some pull power with an 88 mph top exit velocity. On the mound, he showed a 3-pitch mix. He had fastball that topped at 82 mph and a breaking ball that had 10-4 break. His change-up was very effective with fastball arm speed and he threw it to both sides of the plate. Daniel did a good job hiding the ball and made it tough for hitters to pick up. We foresee that Daniel will continue grow and mature both at the plate and on the mound in years to come.
