08/24/2010 - College Prep Super Regional - West Lawn, PA - PM Daniel is a compact, 2-way player that plays 2nd base and OF. He currently projects equally at both positions as he enters his Senior year. In the INF, Daniel has good hands and feet and he works from the right. He has athletic actions, presents his glove well, and stays in a low position. Added arm strength and an improved backhand will help defensive numbers get better. In the OF, Daniel is aggressive to the ball and he works behind it well. He gets in a good ready position, squares his shoulders to his target, and throws with some accuracy to his target. A longer arm action and added arm strength will help OF skills improve. Offensively, Daniel has good balance and average hands and feet. He puts the ball in play and can spray it to all fields. Daniel will need to get his front foot down sooner, strengthen his hands, and improve his lower 1/2 in order to get better at the plate.
