08/04/2010 - College Prep Super Regional - Spokane Valley, WA - PM Daniel is a two-way player on the mound plus at 3B with a solid, athletic frame that is well suited for his position. Currently, he projects best at 3B for the next level. Feet are active but needs to be more aggressive in coming to get, playing through ground balls with his body. He shows a low to high approach with sure hands. Throws displays carry and accuracy across the diamond as he will benefit by getting on a long toss program. Offensively is where Holland shows best through an aggressive approach. Hands are quick, working inside the ball as he generates bat speed to and through at contact with baseball jumping off his bat. Power is best to the pull side due to long swing path. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 68-71 mph with below average off speed pitches that need further development to be quality pitches at the next level. Daniel has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his abilities at 3B plus at the plate as he continues to improve.
