08/09/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Daniel is a SS prospect who will graduate in 2022. Medium frame athletic build and strength present. At SS, he showed quick feet and gets good reads off bat. Creates good fielding angles and fields from an athletic/low fielding position with hands out front. Long arm action, with a quick release, and ability to throw from multiple arm slots. Accurate/on-line throws with an arm velocity of 79mph across diamond. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an open and athletic stance. He activates his hands, with good balance at contact, and ability to keep his hands inside the baseball. Short/direct barrel path as he hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 81mph during BP. With another of growth and development, we see him having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
