06/17/2010 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 1 Daniel is a strong, good sized athlete that Pitches and plays 3B. On the mound, Dan has an easy delivery and a long arm action. He is around the zone with all of his pitches and he works effectively. Dan repeats his delivery well and has room for improvement. Added arm strength through long toss and not throwing across his body will help mound effectiveness improve. At 3B, Dan has playable hands and feet, and he makes plays on balls hit his way. He is a player who is willing to make adjustments and he throws accurately across the diamond. Quicker feet and softer hands will help defensive grades further improve. At the plate, Dan has okay balance and bat speed. He has a level swing and can hit to the opposite field. If Dan can avoid pulling off the ball, and use more of his lower 1/2, we could see a spike in offensive tool grades.
