11/08/2009 - College PREP - Fresno, CA Daniel is a well balanced 2-way player that plays 3B and Pitches. In the field, he is light on his feet, takes good angles to the baseball, and fields it out in front of his body. His fielding has potential, and can improve if he can form a more solid base when he throws, and throw on a more flat plane, rather than uphill. On the mound, Daniel has a good rhythm and tempo and throws strikes. His CB has a good, tight spin and he is able to consistently repeat his delivery. His velocity could improve if he can work to drive off the rubber, and stay tall at the balance point. Working on a CH is also recommended. Daniel shows life at the plate with a balanced approach, a proper load, and good barrel accuracy.
