07/10/2023 - National Showcase - Houston, TX Daniel is an OF who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present. In the OF, he starts with a good pre-pitch routing and active/efficient feet. Good 1st step reads enable him to create good angles and cover ground in all directions. He adjusts to ball in flight with a 1-hand high catch. Clean transfer, with a long arm action, and an arm velocity up to 79mph. At the plate he hits from an upright and square stance. Athletic setup, with intent in swing, and ability to deliver the barrel. He hits into a firm front side and gets on-plane early. Hit hard line drives to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph during BP. With 2 years of growth and development, Daniel should make huge strides on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
