01/19/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Danny is a 2027 OF prospect out of Temecula, CA with a physical frame that recently impressed with his skills at the Rookie Pre-Season All-American Tournament. In the OF, he does a great job pre-pitch of getting on the balls of his feet and he shows off efficient movements with a great first step. He does well to field out in front of his body and catch the ball high. He has a clean exchange and an arm action that fits in the outfield, and he makes accurate throws to his targets. At the plate, he starts in an athletic, squared stance with loose, comfortable hands. He has a short stride, and he does a great job of staying on-time to the baseball. His lower half boasts explosive movements, and he does a good job of keeping his balance centered. His swing is on-plane to the baseball and smooth as he makes hard, consistent contact. He has good barrel control and he had quality at bats in game action, reaching in 4 of 6 plate appearances with 3 singles and a walk. He recorded an impressive exit velo of 83 MPH and really showed some strength at times. Overall, Danny is an exciting prospect that we are looking forward to seeing more of in the future as he enters his freshman baseball season.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
