08/29/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Baltimore, MD Darrion is a stocky, athletic baseball player who showcased his versatility while playing multiple positions for Team Guardians at the All-Ripken event. On the mound, he effectively worked downhill, and his fastball exhibited some arc directionally to the plate. As he continues to develop physically and gain strength, he has the potential to increase his velocity on the mound. At the plate, Darrion demonstrated solid contact ability, recording multiple hits, including a clutch walk-off winning RBI. His combination of pitching skills and offensive contributions makes him a valuable asset to his team. With continued development, Darrion is a player to keep an eye on as he progresses in his baseball journey.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
