01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) David is an athletic OF/3B prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, David shows fluid footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is quick and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and gets into his load well. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid contact. Overall, David is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

08/08/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bowie, MD David is a solid, strong 3B/OF who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square ball up and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well front. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper angles in tracking balls down. He works to get behind balls and plays through balls with momentum to his target. He utilizes his quick feet (7.19 60 time) in covering a lot of ground in the OF. Throws are accurate with carry (88 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact and has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. David has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
