01/17/2014 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament McKesson has a large frame with room to fill out at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds. His delivery is fluid and he breaks his hands in time to allow his arm to work. He gets early depth from the glove, but gets his arm up prior to his stride foot landing, and is in position to rotate to the target. He can get his chest out over his front knee and drive his pitches down to the bottom of the zone more consistently, he gets his best life when in that part of the zone - and he stands to shorten the distance to the plate as well, by reaching with his long levers farther out front. He has solid hands and in idea of how to move his feet defensively, and has some strength and leverage at the plate. There is some two-way potential, but he is most interesting on the mound - where he has a durable build with an arm that works, and stuff with potential to make a solid jump.
