01/18/2021 - All-In Membership - Sugar Land (Houston), TX Diego is a 3B/OF prospect who will graduate in 2024. In the field, Diego makes the routine plays and works to make accurate throws to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Diego field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid contact. Diego can create more consistent contact by working through a shorter swing path. Overall, Diego is a developing prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
