05/19/2013 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Dillon is a tall, 2-way player with a solid frame. On the mound, Dillon has a short arm action, he keeps his eyes on target, and he has good direction toward home. He has on-time separation, his shoulders are level, and he lands in a sound position. In the INF, Dillon has playable hands and feet, and he keeps the ball in front. He has some carry from a short arm action. At the plate, Dillon has a square set-up, good balance, and a level swing. He makes consistent contact, his bat speed is average, and he hits hard to the pull side. Abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
