09/18/2024 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2026)
Dominic French is a 2026 2B out of San Clemente, CA that recently played at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. Simply put, this kid is a solid ball player. He makes every routine play. His range is phenomenal because he anticipates a lot. His first step could be a little quicker and that would only improve his range but again he still covers a lot of ground due to his ability to anticipate where the ball is going to go before it goes there. At the plate, the switch hitter had a solid weekend and used the entire field as he was able to collect three hits. He had two long fly balls that he slightly got underneath that could have very easily been doubles off the wall. We believe this kid has what it takes to play at the next level as we've had the luxury to coach him in multiple events and we can speak on his talent for days. One of his biggest attributes would be his ability to be coached and the fact that he is an outstanding teammate. When you combine those intangibles with his physical talents on the field, you have a very solid prospect for a college baseball player.

Dominic French is a 2026 SS/2B prospect who excels at both positions with equal proficiency. On defense, Dominic demonstrates impressive range and fielding ability, leveraging his exceptional baseball IQ to anticipate plays and cover significant ground.
At the plate, Dominic is a dynamic hitter from both sides, consistently making hard contact throughout the tournament. He showcased his power by collecting multiple extra-base hits, including a double and a triple. Additionally, Dominic drove in 2 RBIs in 8 at-bats, highlighting his offensive contribution.
Beyond his on-field skills, Dominic stands out for his leadership qualities. He is a respected team leader both on the field and in the dugout, embodying the intangibles that contribute to his team's success.

Dominic is a talented switch-hitting SS/RHP in the 2026 class. In the field, he has effective feed and covers ground. He has pocket awareness and makes the routine play with ease. Strong actions on his backhands and sinks hips well. Displays a strong arm (78 velo) from a over-the-top release. Incorporating his legs and staying lower will quicken his release and create more depth on the baseball. On the mound, he commands 2 pitches well. His FB topped at 72 and had late life. His CB sat 59-62 and late sharp break. At the plate, he has equal talent from both sides and his LH is slightly ahead at this point. He is athletic from both sides and stays square. He has quiet hands and can generate some juice (76 exit velo) to the pull side. Overall, Dominic plays above his grade and a scouts feel he is a solid player to follow as he develops his game.
06/25/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (MS)
Dominic continues to show to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the MIF, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. At the event, he was 2 for 4 with a 2B and 2 BB.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament
Dominic is a projectable 2026 player (SS/RHP) who shines in a variety of ways on the diamond. At short, he showed off his arm with a 67 mph arm velocity paired with an efficient ready position, + range, and accurate arm. Not only did he impress at short, but he also showed his pop off a little with a 70mph exit velocity. His tall setup, activated load, and center balance would help him make hard contact in all of his rounds. Dominic stepped on the mound and showed off his command with his fastball, he worked quickly through the lineup posting 3 Ks on the day. His breaking ball also showed well with good depth on his CB. Overall, Dominic is a solid 2-way prospect that projects as a SS but can certainly get it done on the mound, we are excited to see where this game takes him in the future.
11/06/2020 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona
Dominic continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an uphill swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. He has solid skills both offensively and defensively and will continue to get better with more reps. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 68 mph. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength and developing off speed pitches will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.
09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament
Dominic is a SS prospect who showcased his skills during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, Dominic shows efficient footwork and moves well to his glove side. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with good extension, producing solid contact to all fields. With six more years to develop, Dominic has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic (Ages 12-14)
Dominic is an athletic 2-wayswitch hitting prospect that worked hard and was very coachable. From both sides of the plate, Dominic takes aggressive swing, he has a level bat path, and looks to drive the ball to the middle part of the field. From the right side, he starts in an athletic stance, he loads his hands back, and hits off a firm front side. From the left side of the plate, he starts in an open stance, he makes consistent hard contact, and he rotates his backside well. At SS, Dominic is on time with his prep step, he works from the ground up, and makes the routine play. He needs to continue to field the ball in front of his body to have a clean exchange, and have proper footwork when throwing. On the bump, Dominic shows confidence in his fastball, he throws strikes, and pitches to contact. He needs to continue to find a balance point and ride his back leg down hill. Dominic will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14)
Dominic is an athletic and talented 2026 hard working 2-way prospect that consistently does the right thing. At SS, Dominic is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and works from the ground up. He has a good first step to the ball and has good actions when fielding the ball. Continuing to take reps and building arm strength will elevate his game to the next level. At the plate, Dominic shows the ability to hit from both sides of the plate. From both sides, he starts in an open stance and has a quiet load into the drive position. He gets his front foot down on time, attacks the inside part of the ball, and is a consistent line drive hitter. He uses the whole field and hits the ball hard. He can continue to create backside drive to improve bat speed. On the bump, Dominic separates on time, he has a fluid arm action, and he tries to work down hill. He consistently throws strikes and during his outing he threw 11 strikes on 12 pitches. Dominic has great potential and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Dominic is a SS/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2026. In the field, Dominic shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws consistently on-line to his target. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a solid swing from both sides. He sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load and hits against a strong front side, leading to solid contact. On the mound, Dominic gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Dominic shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 59mph. Knuckle ball sits from 52-53mph flashing solid movement. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.
