12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic (Ages 12-14)
Dominic continues to show the makings of a special type player with improvements in his baseball abilities. At 3B, defensive abilities have improved as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry on his throws. At the plate, hitting and power potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength and makes consistent hard contact with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 65-70 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

12/27/2018 - 2018 Inaugural West Coast Winter Classic - La Verne, CA
Dominic is a coachable RHP/3B prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the West Coast Winter Classic. On the mound, Dominic starts with a small rock step and gathers to a balance point over the rubber. He separates his hands on time and works with a loose arm, finishing with his chest over his front knee. Dominic shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 66mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 52-57mph with 10-4 break. Dominic can improve as a pitcher by consistently getting his arm extended through his release. In the field, Dominic shows active footwork and flashes good lateral range. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands. He makes a two-handed exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, working to keep them accurate to his target. Dominic can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a solid swing from both side. He sets up in a closed stance and takes a controlled stride. He is on time getting into a simple load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid contact. Consistently taking a square stride towards the pitcher can help Dominic improve as a hitter. With five more years to develop, Dominic has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
