07/06/2018 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (Ages 12-14) Dontee showed offensive and defensive improvements during his time in the Cape. Hitting and power grades improved to 30 and 28. At the plate, Dontee stands in athletically and well balanced, his hands are quick, and he swings in good rhythm. Dontee has a consistent/direct barrel to the ball and he uses his lower body. In the OF, Dontee has a quick first step, active feet, and he tracks the ball well off the bat. He makes plays consistently and throws with momentum and consistency to his cut off man.

03/18/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Greenville, SC Dontee is a young, OF with long limbs. Defensively, Dontee has athletic actions, active feet, and he presents his glove well. He has a clean exchange, a long arm action, and he throws with momentum and carry to his target. Offensively, Dontee has a tall set-up, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He makes consistent contact and can spray to all fields. Dontee can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
